The Hydralisk shoots needle spikes from the back (well, it's really the big plate thingy attached to the top of the neck, but you get the idea), with a corrosive acid substance that eats through armor and vehicles.
Supposedly Blizzard was thinking on an alternate ground-to-air attack that fired something similar to the spore colony, but I've never seen anything on that myself.

i will be glad to animate if no other animator is interested in this project. But i'm kind of busy now, i'm in university and final is within a month. Ok, mercatorn sent me the model last night. Now i can get to work to animate this model. First thing gonna do is to bone this babe... after i come back from school today of course. Like i said, this is a pretty busy month for me, but i will try to make some updates to the project. Stay tuned.
