no, i didn't doctor them. <a href='http://stats.covertoral.com' target='_blank'>http://stats.covertoral.com</a> its at the bottom....almost half a gig....maybe i should make it 14 days?

<shameless plug>
check out my webdesigners work @ <a href='http://clan.covertoral.com' target='_blank'>http://clan.covertoral.com</a>
i converted them both the php + MySQL so they are identical in content, but 2 really unique layouts.

    If the disk usage is the only thing bothering you (and not the psychostats run-time)...well...text compresses *really* well. [gb]zip that stuff up when it's not being run through the parser.

    well botht he run time and the size have me bothered.

    Should i reduce the # of days to scan? and if i do, by how much? My players are important and i don't wana jip anyone thier stats.

    If someone has improved significantly over the past few weeks, your extended stats selection will "jip" them of the new skill they have.

    I'm using default 14 days, no problems.

    Yeah I'm doing that too but it's not unknown for the server to be full at 6am as we get more popular. :o

    nice doesn't seem to work too well, does anyone know how to use nipr to make sure it uses only spare cycles?

    24/7?? i wish. no, when i am playing the the weapon weights i think to recompile them, sometimes. or when i'm making sure an added player logo works.

    my stats update @ 7:15am.

    I reduced the time to 15 days. I found that the stats are much more represantive.

    thnx guys.

    Easy fix for that... forget PyschoStats and go with HLStats...

    It's under development again as well and it's LIVE STATS! Much better in my opinion. Wanna see a demo? stats.team-ai.com should work nicely.

    It seems a normal log is about 500kb-800kb for a 45 minute to 1 hour game on a map.

    Here's a look at the extended stats I've created specifically for player info.

    my server is down and i haven't had time to go down to the colo in downtown Tacoma, WA, with the host to check out the latest "crash" the box has endured. the last one was a raid1 drive in one array failing (single drive failure is OK; the box was still running fine). hopefully disk 2 in this raid1 array didn't die on us.
