2 New Maps In The Works..

ns_LV-426 (might change the name to ns_Acheron, but for now it stays)

Features:
Med Lab
"Newts Room"
Sat. Uplink
and more...

ns_Klendathu (other possible names: ns_P / ns_Big_K)

Features:
The outpost from planet "P"
Mess Hall
Com. Room
Many tunnels
and more...


Both of these maps are planned to be indoor/outdoor maps!

I plan to spend several months on each map, making them as good as possible, so ya won't seen any screenshots for a while. My clan (which I won't tell you, yet) will be involved in the playtesting (so don't ask).

    how are you going to manage outdoor maps? you know HL engine can't manage that... Esp. with jetpacks and lerks, we'd expect to be able to go anywhere in the world, and we just can't... except if you install a defense mechanism or something...

    There will be a limit as to how high JP/Lerk can go. The outdoor areas are more for 'atmosphere' than anything else.     one thing that works is snow. rain, or dust, something that you can put a func_gravity on and make them pull (faster) towards the ground...

    i'm tired of JP'ing up into the sky brush, and BA-BOOM, you hit the wall.... if your gunne have it outside, explain the wall i'm hitting... that's my only request...

    Just have a dome around the facility. Encloses the external places and explains the height limit.
