The Wind Waker is an excellent game, and the visuals, which I wasn't too sure of at first are beautiful. Bah ... Zelda:lttp is excellent but Zelda:OoT is a game like Mario 64 or Metroid Prime, a near flawless update of a classic 2d game. I've heard some contradicting opinions on this with regard to the Japanese version, it seems to be potluck if it works or not ... though Freeloader 1.06b does seem more compatible. I presume the US release will be more or less the same.
Ocarina of Time was the best simply because I preferred the lush enviroment and the fact that you could enter towns that weren't 2D. and I never got the chance to play Link to The Past. and we can't really argue about a game not being part of a series because when the company and Miyamoto-San decide to make a new Zelda game, it's M-San's series and M-san can do whatever he wants
And Thanks admin for changing my previous post, I forgot that not everyone has played OoT to the end. But if you play Super Smash Bros. Melee Zelda's Up+B special (I think) changes her to Sheik.
now you're telling me that prime is better than super metroid or the original metroid? not that i've played prime but i mean COME ON! classics are classics! who can forget beating super mario 2 for the first time on their 8th birthday or getting mad at someone for getting to the mushroom house in super mario 3. who can forget the sadness at the end of supermetroid or just the joy of wandering around not knowing whats coming next? you people sicken me!
Did I criticize those classics? all I said is that Ocarina was the best Zelda I've played yet. Though Prime is way better then Metroid I, II and Fusion.

So, I finally got around to ordering Wind Waker. Should have the bonus disc Thursday or Friday, to make for one hell of a Zelda marathon weekend (I just recently started going through Link to the Past again, and it so totally rules).
ehm who is sheik?... evil wizard that i know none off? another girl disguised with the aid of magic? some third option im too stupid to conjure up cuz my mana level is too low?
I have gotten Link to the Past for my GBA. And I am a bit dissappointed. I guess that particular aspect of japanese RPGs are lost on me like pearls for swine. It's ugly. No Golden Sun, that was great value for money.
