There are bits and pices of information/rumours about Half Life 2 going about all over the place so I thought it would be interesting if everybody dumped what they knew here. Kinda pool all the information together to try and work out whats going on.

    Seeing as how the same site, last summer, originally slated HL2's arrival for January 2003, I highly doubt its accurate.

    I can't believe you guys are stupid enough to believe even for a second that that crap is accurate. You should know better.

    Half-Life 2 hasn't even been announced yet. ANY speculation on it is stupid.

    yes we know, but it hasn't been officially announced. Nothing is certain.

    Hell more was known about DOOM III, and it was worked on about 2 years before it was made public, and then even after that it was 6 months or so before it was formally "announced".

    Hmmm, X-Box release....very suspicious of that, knowing Microsoft (think they bought the rights to it, am I right?) they'd bring it out just on the X-Box or 6 months earlier on that dumbed down PC. Bad enough that I'm hearing rumours of Quake 4 doing exactly that.
