is it just me?
Got Gentoo up and running and when I start up hlds I'm timing out to the WON servers. Wanted to make sure it wasn't just this box so I checked my other and sure enough, it's timing out too. Anyone else experiencing this?

maybe that's why HLSW couldn't "see" my NS server running (windows though), yet when I was dialed into the box, I could see it running.. and then just a few minutes ago it came back "up"

There were problems with one (or all ?) of the WON servers changing IP address. Getting authenticated and connecting to a server was also not possible unless you used a modified woncomm.lst file.

Should be fixed real soon. I guess the address change takes some time to propagate to the far reaches of the 'net

It was more than just that. There were also some hardware issues involved (the nature of which I am not sure) which caused problems as well. I believe those problems were resolved yesterday evening, however.

Sometimes I wonder if it's all worth it.... then I remember:

Marine1 "I'm SO l£37 and u all sux0r"
Marine1 recycles base
admin_ban Marine1
Marine1 has left the game

I WISH THERE WAS ANOTHER WAY!

You guys have to be kidding me. Look in the tech forum. You will see SEVEN posts as well as a pinned topic with a link to an updated woncomm.lst file. Posted yesterday.

ARRRGGGGGGGG.
