I just found out that he worked on Empire Earth. I had some great games of EE with my friends. No wonder NS is so good. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

So tell me Flayra, did you have a hand in creating fire as well? Maybe the wheel?

Well, if you consider another game he worked on, Mind Rover, it has robots that can have welders and wheels/treads/hover things. Is that close enough?

Mind rover was / still is a quality game! I remember creating an all laser terror (had the movement of an Onos) with the fire power of a nuke.

While I don't normally plug games, I highly recommend everyone interested in hard-core strategy to check out <a href='http://www.mindrover.com' target='_blank'>Mindrover</a>, and hopefully pick up a copy. We worked long and hard on that game and while it's probably too difficult for a lot of strategy people, for some people it's bliss.

Empire Earth sold enough copies, so no need to buy a copy of that. ;)

It's a little known fact that Flayra invented the Internet. However, after Microsoft spread their filth (Internet Exploder, IIS, Outlook, etc) onto the 'Net, Flayra saw the impending public backlash caused by the myriad worms and viruses made possible by Microsoft's non-existent security standards, and Flayra chose Al Gore to be his patsy. Thus Al Gore publicly took credit for inventing the Internet.

I think I played a demo of MindRover a long time ago, from a PCGamer (US) demo CD. I didn't really play it much, since it's not my kind of game. Seemed like a well programmed game, however.

simple enough, just have to put a little time, some letters are difficult to get right

(it was 1.0, med/ammo dissappears after 30seconds in all of the other ones)
