hee hee...jetpack shotty combo is awsome..it is so fun tokill skulks and onosses..they have no change to win when i am flying near roof and blasting away...and welding a hive to death is great too, done taht few times... and as a comm, nothing pleases me much than a marine who does what is telled to him..it is pretty rare on some pub servers..

I love getting the 2nd hive even thou the marines have both hive rooms(vent, maint, via duct) where they only protecting part of the room, and not the actuall hive....this got alot easier in 1.04 with seige LOS. I just like to see the marines go, "Fades? but we have 2 hives"

I was playing as Skulk the other day on ns_nancy, and left mess hall and ran down the hallway. When I'm travelling alone and we have 2 hives, I always have Leap ready. As soon as I went around the corner, a marine was running towards me so I leapt at him.
I ended up killing him with bite and while he was waiting to respawn, he told me the leap scared the bejeesus out of him. I was quite pleased. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Spawn + 2 upgrades = 4 res. Encountering a lone marine in a hallway = +1 kill. Scaring the hell out of that lone marine = priceless.
Shotgunning 2 onosses in a row before finally getting taken down by the third... Man that was a good feeling!
Oh yeah, and leaping a LA/HMG with 3 leaps only in their base (hive) and killing him without taking any damage and scaring the Sh!T out of him - he was like "but leap only does 9 damage ffs!" HAHAHAHA N00b!
A 2 hour game (we lost) on caged where the aliens managed to sneak into vent behind us and build the hive, they had fades before we noticed so we ended up getting trapped in sewer hive unable to upgrade anything, then we spend the next hour breaking out of the hive to upgrade, finally get HA/HMG with only one res point - spend the following half hour with only 2 HA/HMG marines beating the living daylights out of the fades rushing us from both directions until we finally couldn't hold out any longer.... most satisfying.. i was the only gorge on a 28 player game and we were on dat feedwater map.. i took the backroute from my hive and went to the furthest hive area away from the marine base. put up one rt.. and was saving for the hive.. then i noticed.. there was some big time fighting towards my base, eventually i saved enough and immediately put up the 2nd hive. my team was repelling them but slowly they were inching towards home hive. they were dying but were doing a decent job of holding them off.
a lil later, the home hive was goin under. so like i'm **** cuz if we had 1 more minute.. the 2nd hive would go online. well, the first hive goes down and every one on the alien team for that sake.. except for me: i'm hiding my fat arse off in the far off hallway with that bleep constantly ringing that i have no hives. haha. Im telling myself oh great. i'm dead. i figgure i have a better chance defending this new base than going back home. so there i am waiting and waiting.. scanning the entrances into the hive.. putting down def and off towers cuz i was already a gorge mine as well use the res.. musta been a full minute of that eternal hiveless bleeping.. well they NEVER went to the hive i put up. the 2nd goes online and ever so slowly, one by one, the hive plops out each skulk.. which seemed like it was taking forever! well when we had a decent force of 6 i decided to go solo venturing for some expanding(the others will keep them occupied).. i put down another out of the way res tower.. we tried taking the other hives but they were locked down.. then i figgured how about the home hive base that they raped along time ago. went back there.. it was clear for some reason.. commander must have sucked badly(but that is what eject is for right) anyhoo.. we put that one back up.. we repelled the HA/HMGs enough for everyone to fade up.. long story short: we proceeded to whoop the marines ****.
Why haven't peopel mentioned the joy of skulk flying with adrenaline and leap. Leaping tot he the top of viaduct jumping off of air, a skulk flies better than a lerk in soem cases. Its fun to leap once then as soon as gravity kicks in fire leap again and continue until you fly to the top of viaduct. Its touching. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
Being the last marine alive, the aliens have fades everywhere and your whole team is dead, but while you base is dieing ure comm smacks down a TF and upgrades it, just before the CC goes down its u-pgraded and puts up 3 sieges by the enemy hive, and once their all built, running out and warching the hive DIE!! the game is lost, you lose, but damn its satisfying seeing 5 fades and 4 skulks losing ahive to a lone marine with LA LMG, i felt feckin great after that. (happened 15or os mins ago, i was the lone marine <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->)
all time most satisfying is when we had to relocate to vents, I was only one alive, escaped the WHOLE ALIEN TEAM ONOS'S in our base, and got to the cc i built, and dropped ip's and we won!
chasing jetpackers around on the ceiling as a skulk. it's hilarious; they think they're invincible in the air. this happened twice:
1) I was in the upper portion of the noname hive and jetpackers were flying around... one of them flew to the top to reload and didn't know I was there... MIDAIR CHOMP!
2) A jetpack/GL was chasing me around the pillar room outside Archiving hive on hera and I chased him on the ceiling. I could see he was panicking because he was jetpacking around the circle madly. He ended up firing grenades all over the place and blowing himself up in midair! LOLL!
Oh and once I got knifed in midair as a lerk by a jetpacker <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
I would have to say Healing Spray killls on thoses marines that whip out a knife on me. Healing spray is deadly, especially when you have Adrenaline. If I can last long enough to empty clips of both weapons I will switch to knife and wade in. You wouldn't believe how many of them are unable to use ther swipe attack correctly. They just spin around wildly and hope they kill you (which works on LAs :\)

Im telling myself oh great. i'm dead. i figgure i have a better chance defending this new base than going back home. so there i am waiting and waiting.. scanning the entrances into the hive.. putting down def and off towers cuz i was already a gorge mine as well use the res.. musta been a full minute of that eternal hiveless bleeping.. well they NEVER went to the hive i put up. the 2nd goes online and ever so slowly, one by one, the hive plops out each skulk.. which seemed like it was taking forever! well when we had a decent force of 6 i decided to go solo venturing for some expanding(the others will keep them occupied).. i put down another out of the way res tower.. we tried taking the other hives but they were locked down.. then i figgured how about the home hive base that they raped along time ago. went back there.. it was clear for some reason.. commander must have sucked badly(but that is what eject is for right) anyhoo.. we put that one back up.. we repelled the HA/HMGs enough for everyone to fade up.. long story short: we proceeded to whoop the marines ****.

Sieging a hive, when you see the siege shoot for the first couple times and watching 5 aliens die.
1) I was in the upper portion of the noname hive and jetpackers were flying around... one of them flew to the top to reload and didn't know I was there... MIDAIR CHOMP!
2) A jetpack/GL was chasing me around the pillar room outside Archiving hive on hera and I chased him on the ceiling. I could see he was panicking because he was jetpacking around the circle madly. He ended up firing grenades all over the place and blowing himself up in midair! LOLL!

I rush fades all the time, which usually turns out quite unfortunately for me but they sure don't expect it. If I can last long enough to empty clips of both weapons I will switch to knife and wade in. You wouldn't believe how many of them are unable to use ther swipe attack correctly. They just spin around wildly and hope they kill you (which works on LAs :\)

Jetpacking a hive.
Leaping from a ceiling or wall onto an airborne jetpacker. Since you can "wallclimb" on people, you'll often stick just long enough to eat them.
Stuff like that.

Eating an ENTIRE marine team after being the only skulk to rush at start of game! (Done that a few times. Usually the comm comes out and kills me!)
