Everytime I go to connect to a server with Natural-Selection, Counter-Strike, and even Day of Defeat it says my Half Life version is out of date!!! ANd then it says there are none aviable?! Whats going on? Somone pls help!!!

    I don't think there is a new patch, but I'm also getting this message...can't connect to any NS or CS servers at all. It's probably a WON server problem I guess.

    Take a look at <a href='http://www.gamespy.com/stats/' target='_blank'>http://www.gamespy.com/stats/</a> . Half-Life usually has 100,000+ players during this time...now it's less than 46,000 players.

    Werd is that WoN got haxord. I doubt it but ya never know.
    Apparently they were tring to update or something and they messed up.

    can confirm HL (WON)is down, negatory on the update, though.

    They're updating servers, I guess they didn't want to let anyone with a cracked serial play for 10 minutes while they're fixing it, eh? Instead, no one can play, that's nice of them.

    I've got the fix up in the general discussion board. It's not the mod or halflife, but the WON authentication servers screwing up.

    Yep, when I try to connect to any HL server, it won't go any farther than the WON authentication. It says it cannot authorise or some such, then boots me out of the console and tries to start Sierra Update. HAET!

    good thing sof1 switched over at 1.05(maybe 1.07 i forgot) to gamespy. gamespy isnt a big improvement at all, but won is comeplete crap. they cant do anything right.

    And GameSpy is awful. Awful awful. Worse than WON, IMO. Forced advertising is not exactly my favorite distraction before I play a game.
