hi there. (first post here)

i got a problem with my dedicated server i'm trying to set up.
first some info:
w2k sp3
p4 2.4g
512mb ram
80gb HD
HLDS 4.1.1.0 with natural selection 1.04

command line options:

hlds.exe -game ns +map ns_tanith -nopix +maxplayers 18

now my problem:
server runs and starts up fine. i think i configured it okay and i've set up
all portforwardings on my router. although sv_lan 0 is set i'm still able
to join my server from a computer on my lan. after about 5 hours running
there was noone trying to join or even one connection try to port 27015.
(yes my router is set up properly) i couldn't try if there is anyone able to join
directly as noone else i know got natural selection. if there is someone here
that's able to test my server in the next hour i would be kinda grateful.

IP: 62.143.177.17:27015

thanks in advance to any answer

You got the same problem as me. The reason why no one connects it because your server doesnt always show up in the list of running servers. Try using www.gametiger.com and search for your server, Ive been lucky a few times when it has showed up there; it doesnt always though.

I don't know what to say. I don't use a router, but rather a software portblocker. Hey it works for me.
