I've have come to a conclusion. One that I did not wish to come to. It is my conclusion that they NS community sucks. The game is fine, fantastic even but the ppl! Oh my! Its like they are mini-csers or something. Every single game there is at least one butthead screaming for someone to get off gorge, in every game there is at least one person screaming about what the gorge is doing, in every game there are ppl just being buttheads, its against the "law" to bild anything other than D/M/S, the forums are filled with not just flamers but sh*t-disturbers, and so on and so on and so on. Sure there are a great many NS ppl that are cool but unforutately the buttheads outnumber them by at least 100 to 1. Its kinda scary to look back at the seething mass of crap that the community is. You dont really see it unless you take a step back and look.
Then again I also know its not so much the NS community as it is human nature and the internet. Game communities everywhere suck. The more popular the game is the more its community is poop. Place young kids into a anonymous enviroment w/o fear of repurcussions, have them get all amped up playing a game and you get a highly volatile mix. You get ppl doing things they would never do in public and toss in some immaturity and you get....oh boy do you get it. Man oh man! I have actually been thinking about quitting gaming over the past year or so because Im getting tired of dealing with all the crap. I swear playing a game of NS is like playing the slots in Vegas. Refreshing the server list is the pulling of the slot handle, the refreshed list is the number scrolling up and if you get into a good game you hit the jackpot but most likely you will run into a game with a bunch of tards so that means you just wasted your money or in the case of NS time. Ive been thinking for a while now "Is it worth putting up with all the crap just to play a game?" I would just love to play a game of NS without any buttheads being in the game. Musta been nice to be a playtester before release.

Play as Marine's then. Just deal with it, whining about it isn't going to help. I know it sucks when there's people that whine about everything and don't do anything. Just try and ignore them. And MOST Gaming Communities suck.
It's even worse as Marine tho. =( Whining might not help but it sure does feel good to get it off my chest. Yea I know most gaming communities suck...I thought I mentioned something like that im my original post. Mebbe Im just getting too damn old. I just dont have the patience anymore to deal with all the crap. Ive been playing games for 5-6 years now online and it hasnt got any better. It has only got worse. Mebbe its time I retire the keyboard and let all the youngins have thier fun. It just gets so taxing wanting to play a good fun game but not being able to because every gdamn server is filled with buttheads. I suggest what other people are saying here. Find a mature community server and be a regular there. Then find a secondary server for when the first one is full.
Screw it man! if I werent so damn addicted to this net crap I wouldve disconnected net access a long time ago. What I have to do is find something to occupy my time. Hmmm what does a person that has unlimited time do? Now thats a prob. Just what does a person that doesnt have to work or goto school do for 16+ hours a day? TV is dull and lifeless compared to the net. The net is interactive. Reading? Mebbe. Hmmm...guess it time to get back to the real world. sigh........ Gotta get outside more. I havent left my house in days. Mebbe I should go down to the beach or catch a ferry ride or something. Since I dont have winter trekking expierence I cant go trekking now. Mmm what about a move? Just what did I do to pass the time before the net? Hmmmm perhaps a road trip? Anyone got suggestions for real life activities?

I also can't stand when I'm a gorge and as soon as I die some other *** on my teams says "quick whoever has the most resources go gorge" that is very hurtful and is like the team doesn't trust in my pro-gorgeness.
Then you get the newbs who are always whining " aliens are so underpowered in 1.04" I later proved a handful of whiners on the alien team that it was very possible and that simply their attitudes about being unable to win was causing them to fail. The next two rounds aliens won because I continually used mic to communicate and give advice to the team. But it is hurtful to have to deal with these balance whiners having to convince them that it is easy to take back a hive.
Funny thing is that people think I'm a loser for standing up to F4'ers and by using mic to tell them they ruin my gameplay experience. It may sound like I'm a lamer and agressive on servers and the forums but most of the time its all because I'm too protective of NS and keeping it pure. Yeah but like he said, he can't even play on the servers he enjoys because occationally the admin may act dumb or something, and some clans have abusive admins and "special" third party rules for NS. I also can't seem to find any "pure" servers.
I remember the days when I could sit in a rafter as alien for a marine as long as I wanted without being ***** at for not being a productive alien and even leave a game for two hours, come back and still not be kicked. Ns was fun when the commander and gorge player was actually someone to envy but now NS is highly popular and there is not time to relax.
I found that clan owned servers are generally full of regulars and the resident clan members tend to bring in more good people. Here are a few:

When I play on a LAN server here at college, I'm often accused of hacking (just because they're too stupid to use the walk key, doesn't mean I'm hacking), rarely does anyone try to beat a strategy, they just complain about it. "lose the B*** rifle, quit shooting me with the n00b cannon (auto-shottie), the m4 is ghey" I think the only gun they like is the deagle, and if you kill them with it, "gg haxxor"
*shrug* look for people you like regularly. I enjoyed doom brigade, but sometimes the n00bs would just get too annoying, but the regulars there were lotsa fun. As for CoFR, I like most of the people who play there. *shrug*
