I was wondering if there are any people here who have plans for forming a Natural Selection clan?AND if so would that be a clan focusing on one team( eg Aliens only ) or would you practice both intensively.I am very interested in joining any upcoming clans, especially since the people here are more fun to communicate with than your average counterstrikeplayer.... <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

I was going to mention Asmodai's interest in this sort of thing, however, I see that you are the 'Asmodai' in question. (avatar is used a lot <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> )

I'm sure clans of people will spring up after the release, there has even been talk of starting clans within the forum bums. I think it would be a great idea, and help bring our little community closer together.

I'm already in a cs-clan and it's getting to difficult to combine with my studies. There's so much work that comes with a clan, especially if you're,like me, the clan-wararenger. Oh well a NS clan would be nice, but only for fun, and i don't get to be the wararenger.
I think they will specialise in both teams, wars won't be any fun if teams will be specialised in 1 race, or there should be 2 rankings, 1 for marine-clans and another for the alien-clans, and wars should be arrenged between memberss from the marine ladder and the alienladder. Or just aline vs alien, or marine vs marine, you get the point

that way you know it's a fun clan, it's a team clan and it's a natural selection clan ('cause it syas selection?)

actually I allready have plans for a NS clan. I've been arranging it with some people (mainly my friends) for a little while. It will be called the IFB, which stands for the Iron Fist Brigade. my avatar will actually be the official logo of the Iron Fist Brigade

I dont really like the social stigma that is associated with clans. I believe that clan members are rather, for want of a better word, snobby. OO! I found the perfect word: "Elitest".

I disagree. Anyone can be a snob, it happens just as much with unclanned people. It's generally just the result of experience, or percieved experience perhaps.

*nods* It's why I've never joined one. I don't like the whole "If you're so good then where's your clan?" attitude. I think a clan comes natural, if you're good and want to get better you need a clan, that way you can play on servers other than those public ones, and practice against the best players there are. Besides NS is a very social-mod, that aims at a big and tight communtiy(without llamas&#33<img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>, so there will be a big number of clans out there.

as the looks of it, there are already like 4 or 5 NS clans, which is great!

funny thign about clans, the first time i played CS (and, of course, died) i thought *DEAD* was a clan, an i was realy amazed whit how many members it had... but when i so my nick whit *DEAD* behind it, i understoud it...
