Is this what you mean - having just enough energy to jump/flap once, but not having enough energy to do anything else once you're in the air?
If that's the case, you're pretty much screwed. If you're doing a graceful float in front of the marines simply because you're too tired to do anything else, you <i>deserve</i> to be shot. Aliens shouldn't do 'graceful', and administering death is perfectly within a marine's rights once faced with such a situation.
Seriously though.... if you end up too exhausted to fly out of combat if/when things get too hot, then maybe you should have stayed outside the combat zone and shot spikes while the other aliens did their melee thing. If it's just you versus a group of marines and you insist on biting them to death, then you never even had a chance to begin with (unless you're a <b>really</b> good Lerk).
It's much more energy : Damage efficient.
If english is your second language, I'm sorry, but we have no idea what you're asking.
If english is your first language, you need a little bit of remedial grammar edumacayshun.

I answered the question based on what I believed the question to be. To reiterate:
<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->that darn annoying bit where you run out of energy after gliding in and biting off a few marines faces.
You just get propelled upwards with , to me, no way of possibly moving out of it. Help on this would be much obliged.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
My understanding of the above problem was that you'd fly into a group of marines, do some fancy lerk mojo, then only have enough energy left to jump/flap once while trying to make a smoov getaway. While lacking energy, all you'd do is gracfully float back down and get killed.
to quote myself........
<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->You might need to rephrase your request. I'm not exactly sure what you're asking...... <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
That was posted a mere 30 minutes after you asked the original question. If my original assumption of the question was incorrect, you should correct it rather than going for the jugular of me and everyone else who may have misinterpreted you.
If you run out of energy while trying to fly away, you're screwed. Change your strategy next time.
rofl.
What part of "we don't understand the question" do you not understand?

Explain yourself boy, your failure to properly word a post is not the fault of the people reading the thread.
But if i was to hazard a guess what you are referring to, it sounds like you are running out of energy in the middle of an upwards flap/glide and somehow managing to get stuck in an upwards glide headed for the cieling? Sounds like a bug to me.
If you're simply hanging in the air after an upwards flap because you had no energy left to control yourself in the air, and consequently float straight down into marine fire then the other posters are correct - its your fault for not watching your energy level.
lol, talk about throwing the toys out the pram
And if u want help, don't go and **** ppl off
One of my strats is to engage in air, umbra and bite they **** of!!!
I just found out it didnt work that well, when I came in gliding, umbra and then fell to the ground and died...

Anyone else find the irony in his post and his username?? <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->
