MS Word up!
As mentioned in the forum announcements and at RR.org:

We are looking for some people who have the writing bug to contribute articles, editorials, rambling diatribes, etc. to readyroom.org. After the first notice, I expected some vague interest but no one has exactly beaten the door down about it. So, here are some starter topics to get you thinking:

1. How NS might benefit clan play - what are the implications of dissimilar teams, commander mode, the hivemind, etc.

2. Making the jump to NS - how will a CS world be able to adapt to Natural Selections gameplay format

3. Form vs. Function - What makes a good mod? Is it the maps? The models? The gameplay? What kills one? Where does NS stand?

4. 10 things you can do to pass the time while waiting for NS to come out. An attempt at humor.

5. Why does MonsE rock out on so many levels? Why does Mike W. keep a collection of goat porn in a shoebox?

And so on...

Be sure to go here for more info on how to submit. If you'd like editorial help, that's what I'm here for (the English minor may finally pay off). The nice thing about writing an article is not having to worry about reponses to it, like in a forum. You get to spout from your soapbox to the world.

Heh, I'm only worried that I'd start with a good idea and then run out right in the middle. But I'll tell you one thing you could do to pass the time: kill people.

Actually, I'm the opposite of bored. I'm just too busy with other NS aspects to write as many articles as I have in the past. These articles will act to provide the community with good content that I don't always have time to do.

For all of you who have sent in work - thanks! I will be going through them all tonight, doing some editorial work, and sending back my comments and such. Hang in there. From what I've seen so far, these look really good.

In other words, we're doing the work for him, because he's too -lazy- to do it himself.

Well, Monse, do they have to be articles? I write a lot of stories and I have a few started on the NS theme. Sorta.

C'mon, MonsE, you need gruntmonkeys. Just reach out and "hire" some people. You know you want to. You know you've been thinking about it. So do it already.
