woo-hooo
Well I beat SMS tonight. I wasn't goin for the 120 shines, but I did end up w/ 71 heh. A few levels I haven't beat yet though, I may go back and do them.

Anybody else here in love w/ this game? If mario64 was similar to this, then perhaps I *DID* miss something after all. :P

I have it. It certainly doesn't have the same feel as sm64, but its still ok. I don't love it, though. I have 40 stars, and I'm not even close to done.

So did Mario finally get his well deserved reward from Peach? Ummm...I'm not going to get any more detailed than that

Yeah i'm still working my way through Mario Sunshine.
The Hotel Delfino stage is really annoying, as is that one with the chain chomps on fire.
The rest have been great though

I beat this one back in like october (never went for the 120 either), but my all time most frustrating level was the pachinko level. I hated that damn thing cuz it always kept switching views on me.

If I remember correctly, you get to the pachinko level by getting on top of the boat roof when it comes into the city and then jumping straight up when you go under part of a building that has a coin mysteriously hovering there (there's a hole right above it)

I bought it, played it for a week, and never touched it again.

Didn't appeal to me at all for some reason - maybe because I absolutely despise jumping puzzles.

I've been thinking about getting a GC, but then I think about how expensive it is, and how there's a possibility I won't actually play it that much...But then I think about how much I want to play some of these games...

Mario 64 was my first game for the N64. I had all 120 stars in a few weeks. It was really a b**ch getting all 100 coins on Rainbow Road, as I recall.

Anybody hear anything about that "Mario 128" project that Nintendo was talking about, remaking Mario 64 w/ new textures and higher polygon count (would be pretty easy to do actually, just use the Sunshine engine and 60% of its content heh)?

I heard about it. I thought it was supposed to be similar to Mario 64. Didn't know it was going to be the same game

Mario 64 is superior to SMS in every way, bar the admittedly swanky graphical niceties.

I read that Mario 128 would be similar to Mario 64 in that it went back to standard Mario themes i.e. no FLUDD, rather than a straight remake. But if Nintendo decided to re-release Mario 64 in an upgraded form like they are doing with Zelda:OoT I wouldn?t complain. Especially if it?s free

I LOVE the Zelda games. I hope Nintendo confirm the OoT revamp

I think they did already Its supposed to have that, Majora's Mask (or however you spell it), and some Majora's Mask remake or something. It was in EGM, but I don't have it with me.

    Not quite.

NOA have confirmed that Zelda:OoT will be available to people who pre-order Zelda Kaze No Takuto (The Wind Waker) on GC. It comes on a bonus disk which has the original Zelda:OoT and a slightly updated version, URA Zelda (or Zelda:Oot Master Quest).
