    are you talking 2-3 mods at the same time or only 1 at a time? .. how many slots per mod?, public or private?

    i am after a dedicated server that can switch between 2/3mods - am trying to find a reliable cheapest but good connectivity pulic server

    i have a xp1800+ with 512mb ram on a t1 connection in southeast wisconsin.
    runs a 24 player server well now, but not on hera or bast.
    not really using it for anything at the moment.

    ok.. if you want ppl to give you price you will have to answer the following questions

    what mod's?
    public or private (per mod)?
    how many players (per mod)?
    do you want stats? if so how many times a day?
    do you want webpage space?
    what admin plugin software do you want?

    Just to let you know most places won't let you run multiple mod's unless you rent a the whole machine from them. Also to run a 24 person server with good pings (sub 150) on all maps I would recomend at least like a p4 2.0 or AMD equivalant. I run a 16 slot NS pub a 23 slot cs pub, and a 15 slot scrim server on a p4 2.8 .. and it runs really good except when both the pub and the scrim NS servers are full and playing heavy maps.. then the pings are ok on the scrim but jump to above 400-600 on the pub.

    dod, ns - FULL HIRE not just for games
    public server
    admin mod
    some stats = psycho or server spy
    don't need webspace
    22-24 players

    how about pick all 3 and get a server from www.furious-angels.co.uk

    and to everyone else incase you didnt notice he mentioned blueyonder so he`s clearly in the uk looking for a UK server.

    places like rackshack and servers hosted in wistconsin are abit unfeasable to get the game to be playable he`ll require a powerfull server in the uk on at least a 10mb connection.

    atm the amout ppl charge i'll use my net server machine at home to run it and pay for a 1mbit or t1 conn, coz it'll work out less or just as expensive as a provider, also:P i can put as many mods as I LIKE <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
