I don't care about the models turned off (hell, it's an option). I use mine because they look cool! Even the skulks teeth (which dont even have a crosshair, besides parasite). Theres a contradiction in Nethers post, one time hes says turns them off, the next he replaced them. Anyway, who cares? Have fun fragging Q3 style. I go for the suspense of team-based action, not my L337-fR4g1nG-5k1LL5.
Scripting, is usefull. As long as it doesn't include an in-game exploit. Leap/Bite is not. Bunnyhop is. Again, have fun while it lasts.
This isn't Q3, although some people would like this implented into NS. But I'm not one of 'em. I'm supposed to be weak. I'm in a team. Together we're strong.

Or maybe better than heroin would be a better example. You don't have people complaining about it not being possibly in Mario Sunshine or Pacman, do you? So what if its not in NS? If you're peeved you won't by able to get your bhop fix in NS, go and play something else. I don't think you'll be missed.
