  I keep getting this same error after I tried joining a 1.04e server. Now it does not matter what version the server is running. I keep getting it.   i got the same thing yesterday. i was playing on a sever, i left and switched to another one where my friend was. then i get in the ready room, attempt to join a team and it gives me that message and i can't play. it happens every time now. i didnt change any setting or anything between it working and not. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

  If u scroll down in the lists of posts, youl see i posted the exact same question (only i added a pic ^_^)
  I fixed it simply by reinstalling the MOD, not Half-Life, just NS.
  Works fine now, although... i would like to know why this happens.

  You can also remedy it by quitting out of halflife/ns altogether then starting it again. This issue is related to 1.04 and alt-tabbing.

  I have this same problem too, but it happened AFTER i reinstalled NS hoping to fix another bug, but then this one just started. EVERY SERVER i go on doesn't work now. I am gonna reinstall NS and hoep to god it begins to work again.
  
  
  Okay I have another bug i need help with, when i join some servers, it says "server is enforcing file consistency for models/shell.mdl" can anyone please tell me how to fix this, i cant play any NS until i have at least the first bug done with.
  
  BTW: quitting out of halflife doesn't help me with the first bug.

  Reinstall HL and NS again Spike. It's unfortunatly the only way to fix it.
