<div class="IPBDescription">is there any suport?</div> I am currently renting a server from someone running another server. I currently use HLclustermon to get remote access. Is it pssible to use that program to run the server, like I'm running my CS server? Will it display the proper information?

    i never heard about HLclustermon, is it something like HLSW?

    You can also just use your HL console to administrate a server remotely. It's not pretty but it works just fine in a pinch, or if you have a problem on another server and you don't want to leave the one you're on (and you run the game in fullscreen, unlike me; I run in a window, that way alt-tabbing doesn't make me crash or lose sound).

    rcon_address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - IP address of the server you want to access.
    rcon_port xxxxx - Port number of the server you want to access.
    rcon_password xxxxx - RCon password (duh <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> )

    Then just rcon your commands away.

    plz refrain from using Rcon unless you HAVE to. hlds is the lamest POS ever, as seen time and time again, with rcon, you can gain shell.
