Xbox One- Save File Failed to Load

After playing for months and saving with no problems, I began to load up my save and encountered an error. during the loading screen, the text and alterra symbol would freeze and I’d be kicked back to the main menu. once at the menu, i’m met with an error message stating “Save failed to load (illegal rep dist code) Try again?”. No matter how many times i tried (I did up to 13 times) the loading screen would freeze and I’d be booted to the menu with the same message. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t fix the problem, nor did hard resetting the xbox. Has anyone else had this problem? is there anything to do about it, or do I have to wait and see if the next patch fixes it?
