Is 1 broken tram away from release.
UPDATE: The problem with the following problem is located within the server patch file for 1.03 and also 1.04, ns.dll located in /ns/dlls, I am positive I have just tested it on 4 machines alternating with and without 1.03 and also 2 internet game servers both with 1.03 - The results show that 1.03 (and also 1.04d, which is what CiS server was running when it hard crashed and required a reboot during testing of this bug) is causing the problem.

Now, Im not being paid to guess, but Im going to do so anyway: In 1.03 their "fix" to fix the bad ping times and lag even on fast servers, was to remove entitys COMPLETELY from the client side that were farther away than a certain unit distance. Every sign points to that or something like that. I could be wrong, because I don't know how they coded it, but its very suspicious.

Ok screenshots to illustrate my dilemma, when a server has the following problem it ALSO has the tram problem so they are linked together:

Picture 1 is atrium looking at the door to snack bar, look closely you can see that its closed, and picture 2 was taken immediatly after picture 1 but I moved backward 2 feet, you can see door appears open (it just DISSAPPEARED). All brush entitys all over the map are doing this on everyone's server that i test this map out on.

Gorgocles is not happy.

UPDATE: I just reinstalled 1.03 server on my machine and now I get the bug on my machine too. Its obviously NOT the map.

Yes its 1.03 server, something in it. I ran andromeda on a identical machine without 1.03 server, perfect. On a 1.03 server machine, ANY machine, its screwed up.

Specifically, the file causing this is ns.dll located in /ns/dlls

I just copied over the 1.02 NS.dll and it fixed it immediatly.

If they did the fix I suspect in the first post, that wouldn't explain why eclipse and the rest of the release maps don't suffer from it too. I'd go back to blaming my map, except that it works perfeclty if you haven't updated your server to 1.03/1.04

Waiting for someone to shed some light on this.

Well as soon as its working properly under new patches it'll be set to go, there are no other major bugs I'm aware of anymore except this one, and its not even mine.

Haven't checked the map, but should it really read 'Hanger' and not 'Hangar'?

lol. I honestly didn't notice that one, though it hardly makes a map unplayable, lol.

Depends whether it stores coats and shirts or ships and cargo type thingies. Meaning it should read "Hangar" unless it's a usually-metal object usually found in closets.

I helped Req test this map on my server, and there are some severe problems with entity pop. It's not just stuff around corners or across a room; in the Chapel hive, there's even pop on the floors when coming around a corner. Other than these bugs, the map is great...well laid out, looks great, and lots of fun places for assaults and ambushes.

Requiem, your guess was correct. Check out the mapping FAQ for a more detailed answer.

Yeah I know Flayra, I was the one who emailed you to respond to the valve-erc post and then I came and posted an information thread about it here which you also responded to. You're pretty busy with 1.04 eh?

That is the thread where the link is at the top, this thread is an old thread that was dead but Flayra resurrected it by accident. (I think he meant to post in the other, more recent thread)
