Steam Backup and Restore Function Issues

Hey Guys, yesterday i made a backup of Subnautica (with Steam), when i try to restore the backup today on a another PC it does not, I can not load the game, there is no option. I think i make the Backup correctly. Is it normal or can you help me to fix the problem? ( I know that i can save the data otherwise, with the gamedata folder but i have not the old pc anymore)
