Unused or secret suit?

So, once I was using cheats because I'm too lazy to do anything to get the reinforced dive suit, and I accidentally typed "item divesuit".
And what happened? I got an equipable, untextured item named "Dive suit" that even had a description.
When I equipped it, it has not changed my look, nor anything.
Try it yourself.
Any suggestions?
The thing is, that it literally had an actual description that got translated in many languages!

My best assumption would be it was meant to be the basic dive suit. What happens to the player character when wearing it?

Yeah there is that. I have messed with commands before and a lot of things in game have an item form. Infact even the player has an item form.

Yup, I know! But the fact that the suit I found has a translated description is intriguing.

Nothing at all! I have tried, it doesn't add any speed or health or look or anything. I think that is is just an unused asset that got lost in the files or somethin.
