Creative power glitch

i have been experiencing a glitch in which no power source other than the solar panel works and it's really annoying.
p.s. sorry i posted twice still figuring this out

    He's right, the solar panel is the only external power unit that shows a 'thread' to the habitat.
    The lights in the habitat stay off until a solar panel is built.
    The following power units don't turn on the lights when built;

    Thermal Plant
    Bio Reactor
    Nuclear Reactor

    But the fabber works anyway without the lights on as long as an interal power unit is built.
    All machines seem to function correctly.

    The Power Transmiter (PT) shows a thread to the Thermal Plant (TP) until it's built.
    When the PT is placed the thread doesn't connect to the TP nor the Habitat.
    The PT does connect a thread between the Solar Panel and the habitat.
    The TP shows zero charge when inspected.

    I agree, it’s weird to have only ONE power source working.
