[Crash] Game freezes after ~30 minutes [59860]

After playing the game for about 30 minutes my entire computer locks up, I can't even use ctrl alt del. The audio playing at the time of the crash loops into a humming type noise. After about a minute my computer bluescreens with a dpc_watchdog_violation error. I've followed the troubleshooting guide and it did not help.

Did you recently upgrade to windows 10? A google search led me here.

Did that at least fix the bluescreen and dpc_watchdog_violation error? Maybe find instructions on youtube instead, in case there's something my link doesn't explain very well.
