So far I’ve found 3. Anyone know how many eggs there are?

If i'm interpreting the wiki correctly, there are four, I might be wrong though.

After what i have found there is a total of 5 Cuddlefish eggs:
1 in Lost River Laboratory
1 in Deep Grand Reef Degasi Seabase
1 in Northwestern Mushroom Forest caves
1 in Northeastern Mushroom Forest caves
1 in Dunes Sinkhole

I got one by Lifepod 2, not sure if that area is included in the ones mentioned.

i just took a look with a new game and freecame i did not find a cuddlefish egg at lifepod 2.

No Egg was laying an a shallow cave at near LP 2.

Wow, I only knew about two of those,
I was a little disappointed that when I put two in the aquarium they didn't breed.
Seems a shame, I'd love to populate the oceans with them.

I think my cuddlefish has been eaten by something. Well I took him out of the containment, to play with him and now he is no longer to be found. So much for that.
