DISAPOINTED
That after countless months of waiting to try this game in VR, the interface is still not fixed?
Am I missing something here? If we can not see all the menues, we can not play or subsiquently test the VR experience at all.
NO, before you suggest it, changing the FOV does not fix the problem for the Oculus Rift.
Yet I am more dissapointed in the now TOTAL LACK OF INTEREST IN VR, after requests (4) including (2) personal e-mails.
Am I gripping, well of course I am. I have played this game on normal many months ago, yet then I payed a lot for
my VR experience and what better application than diving, even the Rift mask feels like a diving mask.
Yet that is as far as I get.
Im a designer and know just how easy it is to provide an alt option for a special VR interface, yet hej, why not have it change
automatically when you play in VR? For those who don´t know; the lower pannel and left one are out of view in VR.
This problem has been around from the very start of VR.
Just an idea of course, but I think your VR future does not look very bright from were I stand.

Well, wait just one minute here! You jumped in here guns blazing, without checking your mission objective?
You're relieved of duty Major Brighton, until we investigate the matter
for this of course, because now we VR players can try the experience.
So base problem is fixed, now it just needs tweeking, as it feels as if its blocking the scene too much. May I suggest two thin bars placed over the lower menue, as to keep the info together.
Thanks for popping by Kouji
I first thought you were referring to this: [42750] VR Keyboard and mouse do not work on menu if controller plugged in (Rift Particularly) which has been open for quite a while on trello without update. New account, can't post direct link.
I think I'm having that bug because the interface doesn't respond to mouse when I disable headset looking.
If we're discussing in-game HUD, the subtitles are too low to be seen.
Icon bar for hand tools is still not visible. Inside Seamoth, I can see the icons if I don't look directly at them, but they are outside of my eyeglasses and very blurry also because of the fresnel lens.
On Seamoth the health and power readings are very much visible, but block much of the view _and_ because they are bright, the light bleed (caused by Vive display+lens+lens cover) makes it hard to see in dark waters. I would prefer the readings to be darker if the world outside is pitch black.
I would also prefer the Seamoth health readings be on the ingame 3D model so that I can see then if I look at the dials in the 3D model, but they are not blocking half of the view all the time.
