The new upgrade console with 6 slots only seems to make the upgrades work in the slots 1-4, although all 6 can be placed. They just don't work in 5-6. Tested with hull, sonar and shield upgrade. (solved already)
The shield upgrade can run forever without drawing energy or any other disadvantage I can see.
Deleting the cache directories don't help. This problem happen only with an existing Cyclops. If you build a new one, you get 6 slots and they all working.

I decided to build a new cyclops with the old savegame but after the update and it has 6 Slots available.
Nevertheless both are bugged that they have rendered water inside, when at the sea surface, so they seem flooded.

Unfortunately the bug was not fixed before the stable Ghost release, but I hope the devs can patch or hotfix the stable version.
Well it least it looks like it is, can still breathe inside it.
It might be a new or older different bug.
I won't test the latest experimental for a while and use the stable instead, so I can't follow any new experimental versions ...
Guess the thread can be closed if one can verify that a new experimental version fixed the shield bug.
