There are 2 pages of posts that are all about Steam. Its mostly alot of bitching and moning, and lets not forget about flaming the nOObs that acctuly have dowloaded CS1.6b and the l33t crowd is still waiting for 2 and a half hours. Its hilarious. Woo! Acctuly Steam is working perfectly its just that there are 10,000 players trying to download a 410Meg file and servers get flooded. Lets just say that Valve made a huge mistake releasing CS over Steam, hey should have just realsed the TCF updates for the test and made the CS update a reagular download. Now Steam is down, so who knows when we will see it again.

    Valve didn't make a mistake, they did what they wanted to do, which was to test Steam. Not a big deal.

    They made a mistake assigning a ****-poor 500mb of bandwidth for steam. Normally I'd call that an obcenely huge ammount of bandwidth, but for something that is going to have THOUSANDS of people jumping onto it? Really, REALLY STUPID. Nevermind my own thoughts about steam and cs both being utterly stupid to begin with...The real kicker though is how valve blamed gaming news sites for leaking steam a few hours before it was meant to go off, when all they did was report a perfectly valid download link that was ON VALVE'S OWN DAMNED WEBSITE. That, and the fact that was a few hours going to save their wimpy 500mb from getting swamped when people started going after it? I DON'T THINK SO!     I visited the <a href='http://www.steampowered.com/forums' target='_blank'>Steam Powered Forums</a> for the first time today and all I could see was posts moaning about this. It's a pity really...

    I too have a copy of Daikatana... I don't find it funny (when I see it I usually just think: 'Why'd I buy this, anyway?' ).
