I think the Aurora needs some more detail. Here's my ideas:
Pre-Aurora Explosion:
During Explosion:
Post-Aurora Explosion:
Pre-Aurora Explosion:
- The Aurora has occasional bursts of fire, or maybe even small explosions.
- The Aurora has large debris fall off of it one minute before explosion.
- The Aurora's creaks and groans echo far out enough for you to hear.
During Explosion:
- The explosion stirs a huge wave.
- Heavy winds fly past.
- Currents push away from the Aurora.
- Large debris fly by and fall from sky.
- Some of the wrecks can be seen flying from Aurora.
- Top left truster is exploded off the ship into water and becomes salvageable.
Post-Aurora Explosion:
- The Aurora has smaller explosions for a minute after.
- Large debris fall off the Aurora for a minute and a half.
- The Aurora's top part falls down instead of snaps down during explosion.
