Did I cure myself?

in Subnautica Bug Reporting
I finally explored the secondary research facility, and I got the hand thing animation. The next day I'm playing, it's gone. Is there a cure, or is it just a glitch. When I scan myself it says I'm infected, so it's probably just a glitch. I really don't want to go back down to do the animation again

    I had the same issue when I switched to creative for a moment. When I switched back to survival, Everything was cured, and the self-scan didn't change anything either.
