New Connection Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">still cant connect after doing the the t</div> <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'> i just recently installed ns and wanted to play, however when i tried to get on it told me that it wasnt installed and the server wasnt showing the games. I did what was the forum said and it didnt work, and now my counterstrike game is doing the same thing. HELP!!! <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'>

i uninstalled all my half-life games that were on and then reinstalled only half-life the patch and natural selection.

however im afraid to install counterstrike in belief it might mess up my natural selection game.

I am guessing that you were using the desktop shortcut... (look at my sig for the correct way to fix it).

So all that work that you did was for nothing. The simple solution would be to use the start menu shortcut.
