Title basically says it all I dont have the blueprint or anything. I dont know if I have to scan it at the seabases. Anywho I wanna be able to build more stuff in my base :-:
If you follow the signals in the game, they will lead you to where you can scan the blueprint for the multi purpose room. I think it is more fun to find it along the way rather than someone just telling you where to find it. However, if you want to know where to find it, Subnautica has an AWESOME wiki with all the info you could ever want to know about the game.
Used to be, yes, but it was removed one or two updates ago. Since the MP room was considered a luxury, it was removed from the default blueprint library.
You can scan any of the existing ones at nearly any abandoned seabase to get the blueprint.
In case you somehow overlooked it, check the com array in the life pod (the box with the flashing red light behind the ladder leading to the surface) It will play audio messages and give you coordinates to various points of interest in the world and deliver much of the main plot. (You do need to repair the life pod first with the repair tool however.) Along the way you'll come across several Multipurpose rooms that you can scan.
(unlike seamoth etc fragments, abandoned base pieces themselves that you don't have a blueprtint for can be scanned and added to your blueprint roster.)
