Me and my friend were thinking...

We were chilling in a skype call when we found this game on steam, Ever since then i have been addicted and so has he. After really sweating out the game, we decided to challenge eachother to things like first to fully explore the aurora or first to get a cyclops. I then thought of the challenge, First to escape the planet... THEN IT HIT ME. We were bouncing ideas off eachother for about 20 minutes straight.
Here are a few things we thought of

A makeable lifepod: IMAGINE being sat in the middle of the ocean and your seamoth runs out of energy or breaks. BAM whip out your emergency lifepod equipped with a fabricator and make yourself a seaglide or cooked your food!

NO ESCAPE When you finally find out you have no escape, but you can disable the gun what do you do? Make a communicator!
You can send messages to people to either have an escape or special drops for good items! Or if you dont want no escape...

MULTI PLANET TRAVEL Rocket ship? Doesnt work! How sad

WHAT IF IT DID WORK! Build a rocket pad (expensive!) THEN place your rocket (That takes alot of inv space) ONTO the launch pad! Fuel it with ION crystals (Or a natural fuel if that is added) And pack some food for your space journey! A freezer could be added to preserve your food on the ship, How about a shelf for pda's that can be used as books? Maybe even a bed to place on your ship (if theres space) OR HOW ABOUT Ship upgrades that ADD MORE SPACE and quicker flight speed.

MORE PLANETS AND STORYLINES! Your flying through space in your ship, And you see a cool looking planet out your rockets window, You tell your automated voice planner wife thing (The only person you know) To plot a course for Dimbldon! (Or whatever you call the planets) Your automated voice planner wife thing will then turn the ship and fly you over to (Insert planet name here)

TRAPPED Oh no! You have made it to the planet but have been seen by an alien camp group who have sucked your ship in with a gravity gun! Your now stranded on a planet with no escape. What do you do? SURVIVE The same way you did on the water planet. But this time you have to single handedly either take down an alien race, Or make peace and calmly leave to explore the vast areas of space once again!

NOTE Please dont hate on any of these ideas me and my friend were only having abit of fun, Please only try to improve on these ideas. If you see this and want to add to my ideas either add me on steam (Flewq) or reply to this message

The only thing I have a real opinion on is the whole "New planets", which I politely disagree with. I'd rather have one brilliantly-crafted planet in this game than multiple planets. Like, No Man's Sky (as often as that's brought up as a hypothetical) kind of is a counterpoint to the mindset. One amazing planet full of unique and distinctive life forms, versus many many planets that honestly start to blend together after three of them with animals that feel pretty same-y.

So let's just have Subnautica be about surviving on this one planet, and it ends when you build a rocket to get yourself off the planet.

Yeah, and the title "Subnautica" was given to the game because it was going to take place underwater on an oceanic planet, not in the reaches of space. Cool as these ideas may be, they're best saved for a future game and not this one. Perhaps in the same universe though?

Hello Subnautica, I understand that it can take time, months or even longer to create large detailed structures but I do have some ideas so please hear me out! OK so to get started I think that we can all say that the submarines in the game are awesome! Others may not be so fond of them but to my perspective (and others) I think I can figure out that we would like some more vehicles, even though we have the Cyclops, Seamoth, and the Prawn Suit; but what if there were more vehicles, one's a little more interesting! So at this point I believe that you have heard of the 3 concept art submarines with the names being Manta, Draconis, and Shark <---(Not Official), so here is where this get's interesting so as you know we have the Cyclops which is not exactly made for the conditions of the Lava Biome, so since the Draconis is a very armored submarine it could serve some purpose there or even for encountering other powerful creatures such as the Sea Dragon, Sea Emperor, and even the Reaper Leviathan. http://i.imgur.com/iCszsQs.png <--- (Draconis Image Link)

Next up we have the Manta! Now if you look at the image the size looks Massive!; but in fact that is still not the biggest submarine that I am covering but we will get to that eventually! So the Manta is a very big submarine and in my perspective couldn't really be used as a usable exploring submarine, instead it could be used as a sub-base (Submarine Base), I say this because it has very large expanding sides which looks as if it could provide enough for 4 people considering that the living space is almost like a rounded out square. Now this would be a great submarine for those that can't build a base at certain depth and there main base (or other bases) are too far away so the manta could be used for an emergency base that would be big enough to provide enough living space to provide a Bedroom, Food supply room (Fish tanks and ETC), Storage room, and even possibly a room to be used for constructing! I believe that this would be a great idea since we can't always build a base but to my perspective the Manta still looks to be big enough to house the Cyclops with the Cyclops housing the Seamoth or Prawn Suit! http://i.imgur.com/S4gWnYo.png <--- (Manta Image Link)

For the third and final of my suggestions we have the one and only submarine, Shark! Now this submarine for sure looks capable enough to house the Draconis housing the Cyclops housing either the Seamoth or Prawn Suit (assuming the Draconis can house the Cyclops)! Now the shark would be great because even though if the other two submarines were to be implemented, they would still not be foreseeable to withstand the Sea Emperor. However Assuming that the Manta or Draconis can withhold the Sea Emperor it would still be a very nice submarine to have considering that you could be the king of the sea. Along with the implantation these submarines could be new technology to make them! Also another thing the Shark would be great for those who want to explore the Subnautica in deep depths that the Seamoth and Prawn Suit somehow would not be able to handle. Even though that the Shark is the biggest submarine by far it would be great for fending of those fierce Reaper Leviathans! The Shark would also be a great way to explore the depths of the Aurora or even Pre Cursor locations! Finally along with the Sharks Enormous size it could be used as a base just like the Manta except more practical for moving to locations. http://i.imgur.com/6O9Lze6.png <--- (Shark Image Link)

Anyways thanks for reading this Subnautica and I hope that you can take these submarines into consideration and possibly think of implementing them into the PC game whenever possible! I believe that it would an amazing improvement and update if these submarines were to be implemented into the game! Anyway's until then I will be watching closely for more updates to subnautica (PC)!
