  That's odd according to the wiki they're suppose to be found in the Koosh Biome. Of course you are probably right and that they just aren't in game yet officially which is a bummer.

  Mesmer eggs are only obtainable via console command right now, same as the crabsnake and reefback. I spent ages looking before reading up on it.

  They're quite common in the kelp forest caves.

  
  Crabsnakes are in the game. You must go inside the mushrooms to find them.
  
  (On Experimental, at least. Stable they are not in game yet at all)

  The crabsnake eggs are in the pink mushrooms on xbone stable at least so I'm sure they must exist in pc stable

  Yeah crabsnake eggs are in the game, I play exclusively on Experimental even though it tends to be a bit bugger than stable but then again I like helping the devs fine tune the game

  I just got a crabsnake egg the other day in the STABLE server.
  It's swimming around in my Alien Environment Tank quite nicely now.

  Wow, I wish the wiki didn't say they were in the koosh zone.
  A week ago I spent 40 minutes in the koosh zone looking for mesmer eggs, they are my fav. creature.

  Mesmer eggs are available according to the Spawnable Items wiki page. The spawn mesmeregg console command should spawn a mesmer egg. So it should be possible to have your own pet Mesmer even though Mesmer eggs are not available through the normal method.
