Ship Salvage Airbags

I thought I would suggest the addition of adding a craftable tool composed of air bladders, allowing one to retrieve sunk subs (mostly just the cyclops) by affixing inflatable air bladders to the hull in order to bring it up to a repairable depth. Alternatively, you could require its use to retrieve the ship, as without being on the surface, repaired holes in the ship would only contain the water, as opposed to letting it drain.

I thought it would add another layer of depth to the game, as well as being a tool that one would actually want in an aquatic world like this (besides, going into the engine room and attaching depth upgrade seems counterintuitive, as well as being something that shouldn't work while it's full of water).

Might be unnecessary, given that all vehicles dont "sink."

The prawn and seamoth will stay in the position you left them, and you should always carry a repair tool.
The game is based on deep exploration, so there's really no point to having your vehicles fly up to the surface, especially not in the deep biomes like the lost river and lava zones.

I'm not saying it's necessary, only that it would be interesting. Additionally, future plans for the game lead me to believe a tool like this might align with their ideals in the game. Vehicles likely will sink in the future, seeing as how filling up with water will eventually affect its weight and speed, and they appear to be adding that.

Additionally, having a hull crack because it was too deep underwater would obviously be benefitted by being raised to a depth where it wouldn't crack, so there would be a "point" in it existing.

You can use those pfink ball jellyfish things that float those rocks.
Put enough on and it will float anything.

Makes sense, although a little bit out of the way in some situations. Good point.

That sounds really cool, but there needs to be more of a reason to do it.
