vr camera position

Does anyone know how to change the vr camera position via console or other means?
When I am out swimming about its fine. But When I am in the seamoth, prawn or cyclops the camera position is too far back that I see less around me and if i look down I am looking into my body. For some reason it wasn't initially like this, just happened one day.
It would be good if they had the option to change it in the menus like in project cars.
BTW this game is great in vr, by far my favorite.
