Maybe the ending to the game should not be found on this planet, but yet partially on its moon. An element alien to the planet is required to repair the ship's anti-gravity systems, but sources point to a fault deep in the planet's moon to be a possible hotbed for the material. Players could use the modified exosuits to travel to the moon however this will take nearly all the juice in the suit and be a one way trip for the time being until they can craft a new power source from present resources. The moon could feature some pre-planetary biomes such as multiple lava beds, dark caves, marshes, and giant pre-historic creatures that lurk in the night. Weather may feature: acid clouds, which do the player harm upon contact and require an advanced filtration system for safe consumption. Temperature risks, since this space body doesn't feature a decent atmosphere, nights would be harsh and days would be scorching which may require the player to embrace their mining side to hide from occasional solar flares or events till the player can craft a homestead. As you may expect the moon would feature much more land than the water planet and compliment this with a decent array of volcanic activity, and rock formations. The blue of the water planet would nearly light up the night sky.
