lol, I definitely feel NS picking away at my GPA.

I blame Half-Life mods for most of societys problems. If people would stop playing NS (or CS or DoD) and start reading, perhaps we could better educate ourselves on the ever globalizing world we live in, build relationships within our neighborhoods that would better mold us into loving human beings and perhaps incite a sort of charity in our hearts that would consequently spread into our communities and so on. Violence could decrease, crime would be contained, and children would be less sociopathic. Perhaps, if we devoted our will and thought power to solving problems and bettering ourselves instead of new ways of offing the alien horde, world hunger would end, third world countries would grow into their own self-sufficient capitalist economies, competitive with western monsters such as the U.S. thusly uniting the old world with the new and initiating a new era of cultural openness and cross-national unity...

Well I had to write an argument of definition, and this was a few months ago during the first balance controversy after 1.01 i think it was, when carapace bugged out fades were tearing everybody new ones. so, i defined the term balance in a gaming context and compared it to ns, using alot of those figures that terminator cooked up, and showed that fades rape marines most of the time, also backed that up with alot of my personal experiences (using yourself as a source works great)

the best part was my professor knew absolutely nothing about the subject, so I could pretty much say whatever I want, or exaggerate the controversy wink wink

lol i don't think it would stand up to you guys though

oh and the professor was cool, we finished early and he canceled the last week of classes and didn't care if we turned in papers late it was awesome. He even used to be an alcoholic drug dealer

Woah, Professor? You are in college, and you got away with an A on a paper about a video game? Wow.

Post it anyway!

Could you imagine the syllabus for schools of the future? Instead of reading the works of Dickens or Shakespeare, it would be to play Natural Selection and read the philosophies on making a hit game by Flayra!

Kids have it all too easy nowadays, ****!!!

I can see reason for not wanting to make your work public if you spent a lot of time and effort on it. So...

First, I'd like to thank you for at least explaining the general idea of how you referred to NS in the paper
Second, I'd like to re-suggest that you at least send the NS devs some of the excerpts of parts that talk about NS.
