Gamepad d-pad still backwards/upside down in latest update

Ever since the dangerous creatures update the d-pad controls have been messed up. Instead of hitting right arrow switching to right inventory it does the command that would normally be the "up". So if I want to select something to the right in my quick inventory bar at bottom I have to hit up or down instead of right on the dpad.

    I'm having this same problem. I tried to fix it by changing the mappings for "up/down" to "left/right" and vice versa, but left and right on the d-pad don't appear to be recognized at all. Only up and down register, and they register as left and right for some reason.
