It may be the sickness I've had for the past week or the lack of food but that description had me falling off my chair laughing, I can already hear people screaming over the mic that there's fades in the fruit bowl.

We should get more novelty map ideas on the go, I wouldn't mind working on something fun on the side.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> NS2_Space.
Nothing but an empty void, devoid of gravity. Marines can move around by shooting in the opposite direction of where they want to go, but they need to leave enough bullets to get back to the armory or they'll starve to death. Lerks can move by shooting spikes. Gorges can spit. Skulks get one parasite, but it's dead by the time it hits anything. Fades can blink freely, but they exit blink at the same velocity they had while in it. Oni are immobile. Actually trying to shoot something will fling you off into space, so all combat will revolve around grabbing opponents and throwing them in the opposite direction of the way you wish to travel next. Except for Fades; they'll be too busy warping around at 88mph to grab anything. If a Fade actually manages to hit something, it dies instantly as the collision and sudden change in G-force pulps it. Trying to Stomp as an Onos will flip you into an insanely fast pitch from which you will never recover.
Optionally, all Kharaa can die 10s after initially spawning due to suffocation. Marines can either die the same way, or have an infinite supply of suit-cycled oxygen and find themselves 10 years later with severe systemic cancer due to their long term exposure to cosmic rays.

Go crazy, kids. =P
Doom 3?
Or, failing that, an exterior map.
