Hallo, I’m writing my master thesis on the motivations of user-participation in the video game industry. I have chosen Subnautica as one of my cases, due to the fact that you guys as a community have been awesome in supporting this early access titles, by both funding as well as participate in the development of the game through ideas, bug reports as well as fan made content. I hope you will be as awesome in completing my survey, as you have been in participating in the development of Subnautica. It will only take a couple of minutes to complete it

Yeah, that seems normal; happened to me
Thats a very interesting thesis you're doing there and i sure hope you'll update us with the results once you're done

look under your avatar image, you'll see infos like Join Date, Member number and finally the number of Posts. thats what he's referring to
One point on the survey though. It does not take into account the participation through the game's built-in bug reporting function. Many people use that rather than the forums, because it is way easier, faster and you can do it while playing. As we've seen, some of the feedback that comes through it is of poor quality, however I believe it is a big part of people's participation and should be taken into account.

Can we see the evaluation after you finished? In fact I am very curious about the statistics that come out of this survey.

Yeah, i should have taken that into account in the survey. You can use both, as both are contributions to the community.
