As most of us know there are barely any steam achievments for this game. there was a discussion like this on the steam forums and i bringing it here! I would like for all of you to come up with some achievments for subnautica whether they be challenge or gameplay acheivments! here are some of mine:
-Someone forgot to do a safety check!- find a downed lifepod
-Is that you nemo? - find your way to the lost river
-Titanic - sink your cyclops on its first voyage
-Get wrecked - Find a wreck
-Knowledge is power! - scan 100 items
-Bob the builder - Build 100 things (does not have to be in same save)
-Olympic swimmer - Swim 10,000 meters (Does not have to be in same save)
-Now that's a base! - build a base with over 30 base sections
-Homely - build a base with over 20 appliances
-Water everywhere but not a drop to drink - die of dehydration
-Head trauma - get hit by a falling object on the aurora
-Drinking Heavy - make a water filtration machine
-Moths always go into the light, right? - break a seamoth
-Nothing like farts in the morning - get caught in a gasopod cloud
-Leaping Lizards! - kill a lava lizard
-Not a chew toy - get away from a reaper after being grabbed in your seamoth
-Hydrophobic - get to the island in your first day
-Sub? nautica - build a base above water
-Gnarley dude! - Jump your seamoth x meters into the air
-Slayer of worlds - Kill 20 non edible creatures
-Vehicular manslaughter - kill something with your seamoth
-Weeeeeeeeeeeee - use a current generator
My personal favorite:-Smart alec - die in the intro sequence

Carnivore-Survive 5 days without eating any fruit
Architect-Construct a builder
Farmer-Scan the farming equipment and start growing something
King of the sea-kill a reaper leviathan
Home away from home-build a bed, fabricator, moon pool and med kit fabricator inside your base (has to be in the same save)
Nomad-build a cyclops
Biologist-Hatch every kind of egg in an alien containment facility and scan every creature in game (has to be in same save)
Close call-Make it to the surface with no oxygen remaining
Going deep-travel below a depth of 350m
Survivor-survive 10 days (has to be in same save)can be more than 10 and you cannot die)
Stop...-fire the stasis rifle
Now we're cookin-construct a thermoblade
Land Ho!-Make it to the island
Reborn-die and respawn
What smells?-give a seamoth a gasopod torpedo and fire it
Boom goes the sulpher-activate a crash and make it go boom
Radiation control-Fix the aurora dark matter drive core and wait for radiation to disperse
A bit more speed-craft the sea-glide
Bleed-get bitten by a bleeder
Gentle Giants-find a reef-back
Whats on the radio?-Listen to all the transitions
Not afraid to share-give feedback with F8
Not the same seamoth-use all 4 upgrade slots on the seamoth
Paleontologist-find the lost river skeleton
Remnants-Discover all 3 Degasi survivor bases
Atlas Mind-Scan every creature and find every PDA in game
The Dragon-Find the Sea Dragon and scan it
Fire!-Launch a torpedoe
Bit too curious-Find your way into the void (possibly die from whatever creature lurks out there)
Explorer of the Deep-Discover every biome in game (excluding the void)

Subnautica-Finish SN
Warped into death-Get killed by a Warper by its warp damage attack on Hardcore
Where am I?- Get warped by a Warper
Alien Phase-Go through a Precursor gate
Gene Therapy-Use the transfuser on yourself
Under Da Sea!-Stay in the ocean without going above water for a week
Fond Memories-Go to the aurora
More Power than ever!-Build a PRAWN suit
Dragon Slayer-Kill the sea dragon with the PRAWN
1st world problems-run out of battery on your seaglide

Ramming speed - Kill a predator by ramming it with a vehicle.
Lost in transit - Find all luggage bags.
Mine! - Steal Metal Salvage from a Stalker
Like fish in a barrel - Fill an Alien Containment with 10 different kinds of fish.
Perhaps clearing the story-mode on Hardcore?
Yeah, I was wondering why they were even there when there was only three and each could be gotten within the first five minutes ^^;
I hope there'll be a ncie diverse collection of achievables to hunt down in the future, maybe even trading cards and backgrounds. I love collecting backgrounds, and Subnautica's got some fantasticly beautiful environments to use - the Grand Reef, the Kelp Forest, Koosh Zone.....
I would love to use a subnautica background! my profile background is mostly black and its kindof boring. i need a new one! i would love a bloodkelp or mushroom tree background. maybe even one of the aurora.
By the skin of your teeth - have a Seamoth you in destroyed by a reaper and make it back to base without dying.

How long am I here?: survive for over a hundred days
Aquaphobia: Spend 7 days on land without touching water
We all live in a Yellow Submarine: Survive 4 days without leaving the Cyclops (survival mode and harder only)
Don't Fear The Reaper: Successfully scan the Reaper Leviathan
Dude, Where's my Seamoth?: Have a Reaper Leviathan steal your parked Seamoth
The Reaper's Reaper: Kill a Reaper Leviathan
Tasty Planet: Sample every edible item on the planet
Warped Sense of Humor: Trick a Warper into warping another Warper (not sure if possible, but would be satisfying)
-Twisted Humor - Get killed in the twisty bridges biome.
-Earning its name - Own a cutefish

Oh to add: "I JUST GOT IT A NEW PAINTJOB!" - have a reaper leviathan crush a newly painted/upgraded seamoth
I get the Yellow Submarine reference and these are good suggestions!
Airborne - Catch air in the Seamoth.
Can I Wish For Immortality? - Possess 7 Sea Dragon eggs at the same time.
Biggest Fish - Kill or drive off at least one of every Leviathan-class creature.
Mycologist - Have at least one of each type of mushroom growing in one base.
Didn't I See This In A Movie? - Catch at least 4 Sharks (Sand, Bone) in one Vortex Torpedo.
Sticky Bomb - Attach a Floater to a Crash.
Around The Bend(s) - Use the Air Bladder to ascend from 250m or deeper.
Bite My Shiny Metal... - Deal collision damage to a Biter with the P.R.A.W.N. suit by backing into it.
Stealth Sub - Run the Cyclops at or below 250m without lights for at least five minutes.
Surface Scan - Use the Seamoth's sonar at least once in Safe Shallows, Kelp Forest, and Grassy Plateau biomes.
Time to Break Out the Jaeger - Craft the Exosuit
Kaiju First Contact - Be attacked by a Reaper Leviathan in the Seamoth
Inner Space - Get devoured by a Reaper Leviathan
Close Encounters of the Third Kind - Get attacked by a Bleeder
To Go Where No Man Has Gone Before - Descend to 1000 meters
Mined Craft - Harvest 1000 resource nodes (limestone etc)
Subnautica: The Next Generation - Launch the end-of-game rocket into space
Now That's a BFG - Witness the Precursor Gun destroy the Sunbeam

I'd Rather Walk - Build one connected structure spanning three biomes.
From The Desk Of A. Ryan - Build a connected structure, spanning at least four biomes, that has an above-water hatch.
Green Energy - Power three different bases with solar panels, bioreactors, or thermal plants.
A Glowing Sea - Power all structures solely with nuclear reactors.
Don't drown on me: reach the last second of drowning and breach the surface to live!
Close Call-Make it to the surface with no O2 remaining.
