Tilted PRAWN

I've noticed this un-docking from the Cyclops, and when being dropped by a reaper. Sometimes the PRAWN will land crooked. You'll then lean over while walk around on perfectly flat surfaces. If you use the thrusters you still go up and down as if you were standing upright. If you exist the PRAWN you can clearly see it leaning over to the side. Usually docking and un-docking from the moonpool fix the issue.

And in my case, the moonpool hasn't been found yet so I'm just out of luck. Darnit. I think I will just not use the P.R.A.W.N. suit until this problem is fixed. :'(

I wasn't aware the moonpool could fix that issue! I've had it happen after Reaper attacks, and it's very jarring when it tilts. Personally I think it would be good as 'damage' to the suit; slower movement/no jets/tilted view due to a damaged leg, but goes back to normal when it's repaired.

Yeah, seems to be a two-pronged issue.
    • Prawns apparently can't right themselves if they get tilted by banging.
    • Cyclops has collision issues when undocking Prawns. I think it might be happening with Seamoth too, but the minisub doesn't seem to be affected significantly.

I thought it might have to do with my old Cyclops or perhaps upgrades, but a brand new save with brand new un-modded Cyclops/Prawn still had the problem.

I've been having problems with a Tilted PRAWN AND Cyclops all morning. I'll try heading to a moon pool base, docking the PRAWN and see if that fixes it.

Well, docking the PRAWN appears to have fixed the tilting problem. Although I noticed after I had docked that the PRAWN had about 60% damage which I repaired. So, PRAWN damage might also be part of the tilting problem.

I noticed the other night that my seamoth didn't seem to be level to the horizon - if I jumped it out of the water, the horizon slanted slightly to the side... not very much, but enough that I noticed it and my OCD got offended.

Yeah, Moonpool fixes them. Unfortunately, Cyclops-undock seems to mess it up again.

Spent the last couple of days playing with the PRAWN/Cyclops exploring the tilting issue. The moon pool will fix the PRAWN's tilting problem but as EvilSmoo mentioned, launching from the Cyclops screws it up again and gives it damage also which has to be repaired with the welder. In some instances the Cyclops has been knocked sideways resulting in its own problems. I've done this many times under different conditions and the problem is consistent. Loading, reloading and even restarting the computer doesn't help so unless the Dev's come up with a fix the PRAWN is pretty much useless especially when it comes to exploring the Lava fields.
