Crash powder now crash eggs?

Hey anybody knows what happened to the crash powder and wth am i supposed to do with the bloody egg?

    Crash powder should still be in the game (I'm on PC, but I still have it), only now sometimes you get an egg instead. It should not be a significant obstacle to you getting crash powder. Do take the egg, though, because I don't think a plant can spawn another fish as long as there's an egg inside atm. You can later hatch eggs for an easy scan and/or use it as bioreactor fuel.

    Well i would use potatoes for fuel but seriosly these creature are dangerous as hell .the only reason i would farm them i load them on torps and chuck these bad boys at
    a reaper....sigh :/

    They're harmless when they aren't protecting plants. To the player anyway; I've heard it's not a good idea to hatch their eggs alongside other eggs.

    Yeah, crashpowder is still there, though I agree, the eggs are pretty useless
