What does the Moonpool even do?

I unlocked the Moonpool and can only park my Seamoth. I found a Pressure Compensator upgrade in the Aurora and equipped that. H owever, I thought there was a way to craft upgrades. Are there more fragments to find?

Hey! Yeah you need to unlock the 'Vehicle Modification Station'. Its' fragments spawn in the mountains/dunes biomes and in wrecks. You can build upgrades with that as well as torpedoes. Additionally, you can take the pressure compensator that you build to a modification station, and upgrade it to mk3 for 900m max depth.

Yeah, with the vehicle Modifications station you can:-
> Change the colour of your vehicle
> Change it's name
> Craft Upgrades
> Upgrade your Seamoth with the upgrades you craft

it is like this cross-platform and I love it

It also instantly recharges the seamoth using base power. Vs putting it in a charger waiting forever or keeping one charged then having to replace it etc etc...just real convenient.
