Sound / Graphic issues

Hello there.

I'm having a lot of issues right now on Subnautica which make the game unplayable for me at the moment.

The sound is crackling after 5 minutes of playing, and causes huge drops in FPS. I also have some kind of graphics issues (objects appearing late or some textures bugs that eventually disappear when I get closer).

I have the latest graphic drivers (using GeForce Experience)
I also have what I believe are the latest audio driver. My card is Realtek ALC892.

Current sound settings are 24bits 48000 HZ, lowering it to 44100 HZ hasn't changed anything. I tried any settings, none of them fixed my issue.

I don't know what to do at this point. I also completely reinitialised my OS a while ago, I had the issue before and after.

I hope I can get some help here.

All of these things are "normal" right now. The game is still very early access and they will be ironed out in the future. Everyone experiences this.

It seems NVIDIA is the culprit for this bug, at least when it comes to audio. Lowering the the audio to 16-bit should resolve the audio issue sufficiently, if not entirely. If this doesn't fix it, try selecting/revoking all settings under "Exclusive Mode." I hope this helps. As for the video, open up NVIDIA control panel and make sure that Subnautica is being processed by your graphics card and not your processor. I hope this resolves your issues!

I don't really understand what you mean by "selecting/revoking all settings under Exclusive Mode". Lowering the audio to 16 bits did not help. I believe the game is running on my integrated graphics even though I'm forcing it to use my Nvidia GeForce GPU.

To check, bring up the Nvidia Control Panel and under manage 3D settings under the Global Settings tab and make sure preferred graphics processor is High Performance Nvidia Processor.

It's a very common issue on many games, so I always do that before launching a new game. It just doesn't seem to work for Subnautica. Maybe it's just a sound issue, I don't know. I have what I believe is the same sound problem with The Division.
