What if creatures randomly migrated to different zones?

At the moment I feel as though this game is very much about finding out where creatures are and knowing the dangers of certain zones. What if, to mix things up, creatures randomly migrated from one zone to another during the game to spice up survival, and this could lead to different species fighting, or one species having to move out of their zone. We know that if we want Stalker teeth we need to go to the kelp forest, but what if shockers decided to migrate there and drive them out? There might be some still there, but you'd have to explore some more and find the majority again. Or maybe sand sharks try the same thing, but the shockers fight them off back to the grassy plateau? Or a colony of Reefbacks migrate to the mushroom forest successfully, and now live there in peace with the jelly rays? We've kind of already seen this with the sea treaders, but that's a set thing, and nowhere near as dynamic as if random creature migration was implemented.
Probably loads of flaws in this idea, but I think it's pretty cool :)

Migration would be a cool idea, another would be fauna or passive fish that "showed face" during a specific time of the day. Obviously in real life, certain species of fish are active during certain times of the day. I think it would be cool to see Stalkers show up during the night while retreating to the caves during the daytime.

That would be cool. I saw another post about vertical migration, where in real life deep sea creatures migrate to the surface during the night, and he said that it would be good to implement that into Subnautica. I imagine that Crabsquids in the Kelp Forest would not go down too well with the stalkers. Man, there is so much potential for more dynamic creatures in this game! Migration, vertical migration, sleep patterns...

When starting the game I thought this is why we where warned about night coming. When the notice came up I swam like mad to get into my life pod. One time I was so scarred I kept pressing the forward button when climbing on it and then fell of the other side.... had to calm myself after try 5 :s

Has everyone forgotten about the skyrays yet? Birds in real life are famous for migration, why shouldn't the skyrays?
There are four landmasses above sea level in the game: the two islands, the Aurora and your life pod. I don't know if the skyrays are found around the Aurora, but they are found in all the other three landmasses, and I think it would be great if groups of them sometimes start flying from one to the other. It'll also help the player to find the islands a bit easier.

    Who says they don't?

I've had Sand Sharks appear right next to my life pod.

Like lines of them flying in the direction of the islands? That could be pretty cool :)

They might migrate already, it just isn't as dynamic as it could be in my opinion.
