Research Ship idea

I got an idea for a new vehicle instead of it being able to dive under water it could just be a large ship you could walk around it would be biganoughe that you could dock the cyclops in it but still have a large amount of room to walk around and exsplore a lite wile being able to drive it to still be able to see underwater withe a sonar you would make out shapes and things in a area around and below you you would also have a bathysphere on the side of the ship atached by rope you can get in and lower yourself deep under water get out & back in then real youreself back up.

It would mostley be like a research ship it would have a tank you can put sea life in like with the fish tanks and place to put plant life you find the other things would be for the devs to deside but that is my idea what would be the use of a sea world witheout at least one ship not inclueding the life pod or the crashed ship that is my idea here is a link to a pick of a ship that can store other ships inside it. http://cdn4.explainthatstuff.com/empty-amphibious-transport-ship.jpg
