No controllers are functioning in the game in VR mode, no keyboard + mouse, nor xbox one controller, nothing. Xbox controller works for everywhere else.
Any ideas?

I purchased the game yesterday on Steam. I'm using a Rift and an Xbox controller.
The game loads, I can see a sea with a menu "New game" , "Options" and "Quit" but I have no control what so ever. Not with the Xbox controller, nor with the mouse or keyboard. The only thing left to do is close the game with the task manager.
I tried "Launch Subnautica in Other VR Mode" but that doesn't make a difference
Today I started up the game without the controller being connected. At first the mouse and keyboard worked. When I connected the Xbox controller, it wouldn't work and mouse and keyboard also stopped working.
After meddling around with the controller all of a sudden it worked. Sadly, I don't really know what made it work in the end.
BTW: I'm using the Xbox controller wireless. i yanked out the dongle and put it back a couple of times.
